Radhika holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Australian Catholic University and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology from Macquarie University and Southern Cross University respectively. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Radhika is a warm, compassionate, and enthusiastic clinician who seeks to foster a collaborative and open therapeutic space in which clients feel safe, empowered, and respected. Radhika works alongside clients to help them the develop tools and resources needed to achieve their therapeutic goals. She believes in encouraging clients to identify and work in accordance with their strengths to create meaningful change.
Radhika has experience facilitating group-based and individual therapy in public and private hospitals within inpatient and outpatient settings, and not-for-profit organisations. Radhika prioritises care that is trauma informed, and culturally sensitive. Radhika can understand and speak Hindi and Punjabi.
Radhika employs an attachment-focused relationship approach and provides treatment to adolescents and adults experiencing a range of concerns including, anxiety and stress, depression, complex trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, body image and self-esteem concerns, disordered eating concerns, gender and sexuality concerns, and emotion dysregulation. Radhika has a particular interest in perinatal psychology and supporting women and their families during pregnancy and navigating the postnatal period.
Radhika tailors treatment to suit client needs and preferences drawing on a range of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.
